Rustlers Roost was founded in Coeurd’Alene Idaho in 1982 by Jack LaRoach.
In 1983 the Roost was bought by Joan & Dean McEvers with their sons Woody & Daren.
Rustlers Roost was a small 35 seat home-style restaurant that featured breakfast all day and was open 6-am to 2-p.m..
In the 80’s the Roost was serving home style breakfast and lunch.
Well known for the biscuits and gravy, Pike St tea and Home fried potatoes.
In 1989 The Roost moved 3 blocks up the street to 819 Sherman, & expanded to dinner, featuring North Idaho BBQ & Catering and seating for 100.
1993 The Roost expanded to Hayden, Idaho.
Just 6 miles North on Hwy 95 & Hayden Ave. (We had two locations)
819 Sherman closed in 1999 after losing our lease. A great 10 yrs. of loyal customers and crew.
Today, Rustlers still serving up all those basic
Breakfast and Lunch goodies in our new building that opened in November 2008.
Along with our famous BBQ Ribs, Rib-eye Steak and New salads, dinner is being served Wed thru Sat Night.
